Frequently Asked Questions

Does VectorFlow require users to bring anything?+

Yes. You provide your own embedding API key (we support major providers), credentials for your vector database, and for document processing, access credentials for your source, currently S3 and Google Drive.

What's the difference between Trial and On-Demand?+

They're functionally identical. Trial limits web crawling to 300 pages and document processing to one document up to 20MB. On-Demand gives you roughly 10x those limits.

What exactly is a session?+

Each pipeline run is a session. For web crawling, you can crawl components of a single domain per session, not multiple domains. For document processing, you can process a particular format (e.g., PDFs) from a single source, up to your plan's limit.

What's the difference between On-Demand and Monthly?+

Monthly is a subscription that includes 4 sessions per month. Additional sessions are $10 each, compared to $12 per session on the On-Demand plan.

Why Enterprise White?+

Your data stays on your infrastructure and compute runs on your infrastructure. You otherwise interact with VectorFlow in a fully managed way. Full end-to-end data ownership with all of VectorFlow's capabilities.

What's the difference between Basic and Premium in Enterprise White?+

Premium adds metadata extraction and enrichment for higher-quality retrieval, plus entity extraction for building knowledge graphs. Basic includes on-premises deployment, all on-demand features, and dedicated support.

What's the difference between Enterprise White and Enterprise Black?+

Enterprise Black is a full appliance for organizations that need VectorFlow and retrieval capabilities fully on-premises. The appliance ships with VectorFlow and RAG built in, so you can chat with your processed documents. It includes training on the ingestion process and coverage if anything goes wrong with the appliance or its software.

What does Enterprise cost?+
